SOUTHWARK AFTERSCHOOL GOES VIRTUAL THROUGH JANUARY 14TH (Updated!!)

The Philadelphia school district has announced that Southwark School will extend its shift to virtual learning through at least Friday, January 14th.


Sunrise will be offering free virtual afterschool programming each day throughout the closure from 3:45 - 6:00pm. Click the link below to join the zoom room! Any Southwark family interested in attending is encouraged to join us regardless of their current enrollment status in Sunrise aftercare.


In-person before and after school programs are closed until the building reopens to students.


Sunrise’s virtual program will provide an engaging and safe out-of-school time environment featuring fun virtual games, activities, academic support and more!

Virtual Afterschool schedule includes -

  • Homework help

  • Literacy games and practice

  • Online games and activities

  • Virtual arts and crafts

  • Supervised virtual recreation time

  • Opportunities to get moving and active

  • and more!!
