We are excited to announce that Sunrise will be offering two new afterschool programs at Cassidy and Lamberton Schools in West Philadelphia this Spring! Pilot programs begin in early April (tentatively - 4/4), and will continue throughout the 2023-24 school year.
These programs are completely free to all Cassidy and Lamberton families! Bussing will be available to Cassidy families as needed.
Programs will take place Monday - Friday (subject to School District Holidays + closures) from dismissal - 5 to 5:30pm
Like all Sunrise programs, Cassidy and Lamberton afterschool programs will offer a family-like afterschool atmosphere focused on academic enrichment and opportunities for peer-to-peer interaction and social-emotional learning!
A typical day at Sunrise afterschool features structured activity blocks, informal play periods, times for snack, recreation time, athletics, arts & crafts, STEM activities, and more!
Programs focus primarily on academic development while providing meaningful opportunities for social emotional learning, mentorship, and structured peer-to-peer interaction!
These programs are made possible through a partnership with the School District of Philadelphia, and feature curriculum support from the local Philadelphia based non-profit, Innovageous Solutions.
