Sunrise Partners with CARing for Kids Foundation for annual winter coat drive!!
For more than 15 years, Sunrise has partnered with the philanthropic arm of the Auto Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia (The Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation), to bring warmth and holiday cheer to Philadelphia families!
Every year the CARing kids foundation sources brand new winter coats which are distributed through a network of more than 250 local social services agencies, YMCAs, homeless shelters, school district agencies and more.
Throughout this initiative, Sunrise has served as a community distribution partner handing out coats to the thousands of students and their families who have been involved in Sunrise afterschool programs.
This year, CARing for Kids Foundation and their partners will reach a major milestone - distributing their 500,000th coat to Philadelphia families and individuals in need! Sunrise is so proud to be a part of this amazing achievement!!
A new winter coat is one of the most requested items via area social services agencies! Over the course of the coat drive community partners will distribute more than 42,000 coats through 250+ community partners and agencies.
