Announcing New Additions to the Sunrise Advisory Board

Dr. Donna Randolph - Communications Advisor


Donna Randolph holds degrees in Education and Leadership and Policy Studies and has been a Special Education teacher, supervisor, and principal both in the public and private sectors. She was conferred her doctoral degree in Higher Education-Leadership and Policy Studies from California State University, Northridge. Her dissertation focused on underrepresented students and research opportunities.


Dr. Randolph expertise lies in personal development strategies for adults and teens, parent engagement topics, assisting parents in finding higher education and career opportunities, and professional development training. Dr. Donna raised four children as a single mom and is a proud grandmother to two granddaughters and a grandson.


Joe Blando - Fundraising Advisor

Joe Blando is the financial center bank manager for Univest Bank at 1642 Fairmount Ave in Philadelphia Pa 19130. He has been in banking and finance for over 20 years. He has a deep passion for helping businesses and individuals that need any type of finance or sound advice. Joe is inspired by his wife and two children who he is privileged to see grow every day. He enjoys family time, sports. Movies , and most importantly. Showing his children the value in helping people and giving back to the community. We are thankful to have Joe join us as an advisor to the sunrise financial team.

Malik Potter - Student Advocacy Advisor


Malik Potter is the new advisor for Sunrise student focused advocacy efforts. Malik is a longtime out-of-school time advocate who grew up in inner city Harrisburg, PA. He is a graduate of Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and currently enrolled in a M.S. of College Counseling and Student Affairs program at Shippensburg University. His experience in OST includes working closely with PSYADN as an Intern and the Center of Schools and Communities as an independent consultant. He has served on the Board of Directors for PENN SACCA and volunteered extensively for the National Afterschool Alliance.
